A new challenger for the AEW Women’s World Championship has been named at All In Texas, and that woman is Athena.
The match featured Kris Statlander and Megan Bayne starting off the match as the women of AEW piled in to score that one pinfall. Rivalries and friendships within the division were spread throughout the match.
We also got to see some surprises and returns. First with Harley Cameron, as she and Anna Jay try to get rid of Penelope Ford’s antics.
Stardom’s Syuri also made her AEW debut, shortly followed by Alex Windsor making her long-awaited appearance.
In the end, Mina Shirakawa ends up rocking Thunder Rosa. But, gets ahead of herself as the Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion, Athena, hits an O-Face to take the win in front of her home crowd.
