We are just ten days away from Slammiversary, and tonight on TNA Impact we get to see who can continue their momentum towards an already high-stakes card.
The show kicks off with the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Ash and Heather By Elegance, taking on the newest Knockouts Myla Grace and Harley Hudson. The Elegance Brand is set to defend their titles against The IInspiration, but these fresh Knockouts have something to prove.
Hudson tries to take it to The Elegance Brand, but gets cornered due to some elegant teamwork. She finally makes the hot tag out to Grace and gets some quick momentum going. However, M By Elegance puts a stop to Hudson as Ash hits Rarified Air on Grace for the win.
It’s TNA vs NXT tonight as the TNA Knockouts World Champion, Masha Slamovich, teams up with Lei Ying Lee to take on the NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and her Fatal Influence partner, Fallon Henley. Jayne has her sights on being a double champion at Slammiversary as it’s winner-take-all for both the TNA and NXT titles. But, Jayne has to get through Jordynne Grace first at WWE Evolution in order for that to happen.
Jayne starts with a cheap shot to Slamovich, but gets ahead of themselves as Lee and Slamovich are quick to make the tag. Things turn around as Jayne sneaks in a tag and knees Lee as she falls towards the outside.
Lee suffers the onslaught of Fatal Influence for most of the match, but desperately lands a crossbody to make the hot tag out to Slamovich. Fatal Influence attempts to redirect the momentum and get the win on Slamovich, but Lee puts a stop to it. As both Jayne and Lee spill outside the ring, Slamovich manages to land the Snowplow for the win.
Indi Hartwell and Tessa Blanchard have been at odds for quite some time now. As the tensions build towards their match at Slammiversary, Hartwell has a chance to face Blanchard’s colleague, Victoria Crawford, tonight.
With Blanchard on commentary for this match, Crawford seemingly heads for the hills at the start of this match. It’s all a ploy as Crawford takes a cheap shot to Hartwell. As Crawford props Hartwell on the ropes, Blanchard helps her friend out by taking a cheap shot. However, it’s enough games as Hartwell lands a hard boot on Crawford and picks up the win.
Post-match, Blanchard grabs the mic and rips into Hartwell and says the only reason she’s a success is because of Blanchard herself. And at Slammiversary, she’ll end Hartwell once and for all.
