Jay Triano will join Jason Kidd’s coaching staff with the Dallas Mavericks next season, sources told Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Triano joins Frank Vogel and Popeye Jones as new members of Kidd’s staff.
Mike Brown was interested in adding Triano to his staff as he looks for a lead assistant coach.
The Knicks also had interest in James Borrego, though Borrego will remain with the Pelicans.Â
