Slammiversary played host to the crowning of several new champions – and the shocking moments that followed.

NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne made history when she defeated Masha Slamovich to capture the TNA Knockouts World Championship. With this victory, Jayne becomes the first double champion in the groundbreaking partnership between TNA and WWE.

Leon Slater also made history in more ways than one when he dethroned Moose to become the new X-Division Champion. This makes Slater the youngest TNA X-Division Champion of all time, at just 20 years old.

After the match, Slater was congratulated by “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, who was making his highly-anticipated and long-awaited return to TNA Wrestling.

Meanwhile, The Hardys toppled The Nemeths, The Rascalz and FIR$T CLA$$ to become TNA World Tag Team Champions in what was a jaw-dropping Ladder match. This marks The Hardys’ fourth reign with the titles.

Moments later, Bully Ray returned to TNA Wrestling and laid out the challenge for one more match between Team 3D and The Hardys at Bound For Glory this October.

TNA iMPACT! is LIVE from Kingston, Rhode Island this Thursday at 8/7c on TNA+ around the world, Sportsnet 360 in Canada, and at 9/8c on AXS TV in the US.
