It’s the last AEW Dynamite before Forbidden Door this Sunday in London, and it looks to be challengers vs champions tonight.
In our main event, “The CEO” and TBS Champion, Mercedes Moné, and the Ring of Honors Women’s Champion, Athena, will team up tonight to take on the AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm and Alex Windsor.
Moné will have to defend her TBS Championship in a four-way match at Forbidden Door against Windsor, CMLL’s Persephone, and Stardom’s Bozilla. As for Athena, she goes on to challenge Storm for the AEW Women’s World Title after getting her shot at All In.
Windsor and Moné start it off as we get a preview of Sunday. Storm gets the tag in and meets Moné in almost a flashback to All In.
Moné makes the tag out to Athena as we get another preview. Both teams are in sync, and spill to the outside as Athena rockets into Windsor.
As Storm rains on Athena, her and Moné’s teamwork seems to get the best of her through the match. But, she prevails as both Storm and Athena make the hot tag out. Athena takes out Storm by driving her head through the steel steps.
With Windsor and Moné left back in the ring, Windsor locks in the Sharpshooter on Moné. Moné is tapping out, but Windsor soon realizes that Moné is not the legal competitor in the ring. Out of nowhere, Athena hits the O-Face on Windsor and gets the pinfall victory.
