With TNA Emergence behind us and NXT Heatwave on the horizon, the NXT and TNA Knockouts roster clash tonight on TNA Impact!
But first, we look towards post-Heatwave as we determine who will be the No. 1 contender for the TNA Knockouts World Championship in a Knockouts Gauntlet Match.
The order of participants:
- Xia Brookside
- Killer Kelly
- Dani Luna
- Rosemary
- Indi Hartwell
- Jody Threat
Xia Brookside takes out Killer Kelly, but eats a Luna Landing from Luna. Luna fights through Rosemary, but Rosemary gets into a tussle with Hartwell as she’s making her entrance.
As Hartwell and Luna face off, Luna fails to kickout and begins to run irate against Hartwell as the gauntlet continues. The final competitor is Jody Threat, who can’t believe what her former Spitfire tag-team partner just did. Luna says that she did it for Threat, and as the bell rings she comes with a steel chair in hand. She lands a hard blow to Threat and causes a disqualification as she tries to take out Hartwell for good. Security comes to break it up, but the last two competitors leave shocked as Threat now has a shot at the Knockouts World Title.
Threat goes to Santino Marella and says she’s not earned her title shot after that fiasco. Luna says again that she did it for Threat, and overall, she’s not getting what she deserves.
The IInspiration is here and quickly send a message towards the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, The Elegance Brand. Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx of Fatal Influence are still determined to bring those titles to NXT. The IInspiration then challenges them to a match next week.
Meanwhile, Mara Sadé is backstage painting on a canvas as The Hardys run into her. Sadé says Jeff and Matt have been a huge inspiration for her career. Tasha Steelz later takes a look at Sadé’s work and mocks it. Sadé catches her and says she’ll go to Marella for a match against her next week.
The TNA Knockouts World Champion and the NXT Women’s Champion, Jacy Jayne, is also here tonight as she addresses her upcoming TNA Knockouts title defense at NXT Heatwave against Ash By Elegance and Masha Slamovich.
Jayne runs her mouth against both the NXT and TNA locker rooms. George Iceman puts a stop to it as Ash goes down her accolades. Ash calls Slamovich a “Slamobitch” and this prompts the former champion to come out. Slamovich gives them some choice words of their own, and promises to take back the title back to TNA.
