Lola Vice has become the number one contender to the NXT Women’s Championship. She won a Triple Threat at Heatwave on Sunday which also included Kelani Jordan and Jaida Parker.
The final moments of the match saw Vice with a submission locked in on Jordan. Parker broke it up and went for Hipnotic, but hit Jordan instead. This allowed an opening for Vice to roll up Parker to get the win.
Vice will take on the NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne at No Mercy on Sept. 27.
Later in the show, Parker was in medical when things got heated between herself and Lash Legend. Despite Vice being the number one contender, Legend feels she will be the next champion.
Vice had a run in with Jayne and Fatal Influence backstage. Zaria and the NXT Women’s North American and Women’s Speed Champion Sol Ruca emerged to have Vice’s back. A six woman tag match is looming.
