Stephanie Vaquer does remain the number one contender for the Women’s World Championship, however, she does not have an opponent. After Naomi vacated the title due to her pregnancy announcement last week, the title is currently vacant.
On the Aug. 25 episode of Raw, Vaquer spoke with General Manager Adam Pearce. Pearce let her know, she is indeed the number one contender, but she will not have a match at Clash in Paris due to the vacant title. He did ask her to give him a week, and he will have the opponent for her, he has one in mind.
Vaquer said that she wishes she could have the match at Paris, but she understands.
