After Mercedes Moné retained the TBS Championship from Alex Windsor on this week’s Dynamite, the former and inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion – Riho made her return.
Riho last appeared on Dynamite in March 2024 which so happened to be the show that Moné debuted at. She had lost a match to Willow Nightingale. Her re-emergence has given her a title opportunity as she will face Moné for the TBS Title at All Out on Sept. 20.
Moné is currently sitting at 466 days and counting as champion. As of her win over Windsor, this was her 20th title defense.
