Ja’Marr Chase Says That He’s Been Fined

The 2024 NFL regular season has been an absolute nightmare for the Cincinnati Bengals thus far, with the once-dominant squad led by superstars Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase going from a potential Super Bowl title contender in the AFC to having one of the worst records in the league after five games.

As if Cincinnati’s season-opening loss at home to the rebuilding New England Patriots wasn’t bad enough, the Bengals have only managed one win in five games, which is not ideal for a team with such high expectations.

The Bengals will have an opportunity to get back on track this weekend when they travel to MetLife Stadium to take on Daniel Jones and the New York Giants, but the team might be dealing with an unexpected distraction ahead of Week 6.

Apparently, Chase is claiming that he has been fined, as he took to his X account to complain about not having any idea what the fine is for while giving no context on whether it is coming from the team or the league.

Although there’s still time for the Bengals to turn things around during the 2024 campaign, things like this keep popping up for Cincinnati, which isn’t great for a team needing to be sharp moving forward because they are already in a big hole to start the year.

It’ll be interesting to see where this goes from here and what Chase was fined for.
