Over the past few weeks, the New York Jets have tried to right the ship after getting off to a rocky start to the 2024 NFL season.
First, the Jets chose to fire head coach Robert Saleh following a Week 5 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, and then made a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders to acquire wide receiver Davante Adams, reuniting him with Aaron Rodgers.
Unfortunately for New York, the Jets have lost two more games and are sitting at 2-5, in serious danger of losing any chance of making the playoffs if they can’t turn things around immediately.
With one game in the books for Adams on the Jets, the veteran wideout pointed out something he thinks the team needs to change.
“It wasn’t that guys weren’t playing hard, but we weren’t celebrating together. It didn’t feel like a whole lot of fun was being had. Bring some juice,” Adams said, via Jets Videos.
Davante Adams is encouraging the Jets to do the little things with each other more during games:

If a team isn’t having fun and enjoying things going right on the field, it might not have a bright future, as the players are clearly frustrated and unhappy.
It remains to be seen if this situation in New York can be fixed, even though the Jets seem talented enough to have some fun on both sides of the football.
