Steelers Make Official Decision About George Pickens’ Status

Heading into Week 15 of the 2024 NFL season, the Pittsburgh Steelers are sitting atop the AFC North with a two-game lead over the Baltimore Ravens.

Although the Steelers may be on their way to winning the division and reaching the playoffs as a result, Pittsburgh will have a tough four-game stretch to finish the regular season, starting with two games on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles and Ravens before finishing with matchups against the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals.

With an incredibly challenging four-game stretch ahead, the Steelers need to continue playing at a high level on both sides of the football.

Unfortunately, they got some bad news about one of their best offensive players for Week 15.

“Steelers ruled out wide receiver George Pickens for Sunday’s game against the Eagles due to his hamstring injury,” ESPN insider Adam Schefter wrote on X.

The Steelers will head into the matchup against the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field as betting underdogs, as they’ll face the tall task of competing against one of the best teams in the NFC that is riding a nine-game winning streak.

Although the Eagles have dealt with some drama due to a rumored beef between quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown, Philadelphia is still a serious force to be reckoned with and will be a handful on both sides of the ball.
