The University of North Carolina is advancing through candidates to take over as the general manager of the school’s basketball program, according to Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider.
Mitch Kupchak is working as an advisor in the process.
Buzz Peterson and Jim Tanner are candidates for the position, confirmed Fischer.
Tanner, who currently represents Ja Morant and Desmond Bane as an agent, would have to relinquish his clients should he take over the role.
