WWE Speed is sticking around.
Despite the deal with the X social media platform being over, WWE Speed will be shifting to NXT. This means, the current Women’s Speed Champion (and NXT Women’s North American Champion) Sol Ruca will get to defend the gold on the NXT brand.
Ruca will defend the WWE Women’s Speed Title at the upcoming No Mercy event on Sept. 27. Her opponent will be determined from a four woman tournament. In that tournament will be one woman from NXT, Raw OR SmackDown, TNA, and AAA. The matches begin on Sept. 2.
